We are thrilled to announce that Creative Scotland will be supporting NOISE’s work in Shetland this year, where we will be working towards commissioning and producing a new NOISE Opera.
Artistic Director James Robert Carson, Shetland fiddler and composer Chris Stout, composer Gareth Williams and librettist Sian Evans will embark on a research and development trip around Shetland and the Fair Isle during March 2014.
Our Director James Robert Carson is directing a show at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland this week. Called the Beaux Stratagem “it is packed with fun, charm, hapless eccentrics, and bags of style. It is a bright and enduring testament to the ridiculousness of human nature, a wonderful comedy of character and manners.”
Catch it while you can!
